Thanks Skip,
If anchoring in the bay here between the islands, I am told
the current is strong and the holding poor at times due to
the bottom being loaded with junk and scoured by anchors
for the last 300 years. WE may anchor out in a few days too,
but have some time left in the ATLANTIS MARINA, where the
money is pouring through our fingers. <GRIN> But we are
having fun and hopefully will have my brother join me aboard
shortly.

Sue talked to Skip this morning and I imagine we will not
be moving till this weekend as well. Be careful of crime
while you are in Nassau. There were 50 murders among
the 250,000 population here. Its like anchoring in down town
Washington DC. I was told by a friend of an incident last
spring where a colleague whose boat was entered at Yacht Haven
Marina, while they were sleeping, had their wallets taken by
sneak thief.

Hope to see you sometime. We will definitely see the
Junkanoo Celebration. Also consider taking a taxi to
the Area on West Bay Street known as FISH FRY.
It was reported as great to me. DO NOT WALK THOUGH.

Hi, Ed, and list,

We're across the harbor from you, and will be anchoring out after
leaving Yacht Haven this afternoon - likely on the east end. We'll be
staying put for Junkanou at least, as the winds are going to be REALLY
nasty for going south, per Chris Parker, our spot-on weather guru. If
he sez go, or no-go, I do it, because he's been accurate to the knot,
minute and inch every time we've used him on a passage...
