Morning everyone....I just thought I would toss this out... a few yrs
back.. I was cruising.. facing the same waaaaaaay to much mail
on my server to download via winmail or whatever it is called via the
SSB or wifi if i could find one.. we did not have an antenna on the
boat..
I sat down one morning on the sock outside a place and got me a yahoo
account for my lists that i liked to read.. then later got a Gmail
account..
the pluss is that anyplace I go, I can access my email.. it is all on
servers and not on my laptop... if there is anything I want to truly
save.. I can cut and paste it to a file.
Even better is that I have stopped seeing spam and attempts to hit me
with a virus via email.
I prefer to send photos via yahoo..they come out full size.. gmail
automatically resizes them to thumbnails that don't resize for my
aging eyes...

I have some freinds who have some awesome WIFI antenna setups on thier
boats... let me see if I can get a url or two for them...

Air Cards CONUS are great..simplhy fantastic... once you leaeve CONUS
then you are sol...it is WIFI....

www.caribwx.com is a good site.....this is the forecast page for the
caribean...usvi and points south.. http://www.caribwx.com/latest.html

fair winds to all...
'b.
