Yes,

It seems that bronze fittings are easy to find, but it's the bronze pipe
nipples that failed to show up in any of my searches on this.  

I suppose one could buy some bronze pipe and make the nipples (pipe threader
needed) or pay a guy with a threader to do so.

West Marine has bronze pipe fittings.

Bronze has a reddish hue instead of the yellow hue of brass and is
sometimes called "red brass".
