Are the mooring balls just for transits or unoccupied boats? Last time I
checked (a few yrs ago) it was "illegal" to live onboard in the city of Naples,
just like it currently is up in the Redington/Madera Beach area (entire stretch
between Clearwater & St Pete). They may allow short term "transits" (spend
your money & leave), but IMHO all boaters should boycott these areas... along
with the entire state of Georgia for their discriminatory anti-liveaboard laws.
