Subject: [Liveaboard] Back in Jacksonville

To all my friends (and enemies) on the List; Jan and I have moved back from
Ft Myers to Jacksonville so I am back to being a boat slave.

My mom passed away in her sleep at home on the 24th during Obama's speech
to Congress. She was a life-long republican and I guess she just had
enough of the democrats...

She was 93, had a long adventuresome life, and I am grateful that she
didn't linger in pain any longer than she did. I feel fortunate to have
been able to spend the last 7 months of her life with her in Ft Myers.

It has been said that no matter what sort of relationship you had with your
parent(s), when they are gone they leave a big empty space inside you.

It's true. Enjoy them while you can.
