I have $3000 in solar equip and receive about $5-10/month worth of grid 
power, and I am in the tropics. I use about 2kwh per day.  Boats have tiny 
self defrost fridges, 5W lightbulbs, 9" laptop computers and little TV use. 
If you could do that much conservation, would you still bother with the 
solar?
