Some marinas resell their electricity at a considerable mark up. 

Noel - Is yours metered? If so how many kWh are your using? That would be a 
start to see how much power you would have to generate with your "current" 
configuration. Also, If that water heater is electric, you will find there are 
many more cost efficient  ways to heat your water. Demand propane heater is one 
I would recommend.
