Quite apropos, that: I was just about to replace cheek blocks in my
reefing system, and that requires SS screws in an aluminum boom. I've
used anhydrous lanolin in the past, but all I remembered about it was
that it worked well on turnbuckles. I think I'll go find some...
hopefully, someplace here in Beaufort, SC will have it.
