I'd suggest using swage lube rather than guessing. That stuff is
compounded to prevent the "diesel effect" from occuring (i.e., lube
igniting under high compression.)

I've used 5200 in some of my Norseman swages in the past; inspecting
them some ten years down the road shows no corrosion. I will, however,
note that the stainless steels that are available now are not what they
used to be (the 300-series "marine" SSes, wire and all, are pretty much
trash quality.) Giving them the absolutely best protection available may
just make enough of a difference in a bad situation.
