Hi Steve, I'm in Penobscott Bay, Maine and only a few places here will haul
cats(18' 3"beam). It just kills me to have the boat at -20+ degrees covered
in feet of snow. It can't be good--- I know it doesn't do me much good. I'm
looking at all options at this point. Constitution Marina in Boston just
advertised at $40/ft for the winter season. Here (Journey's End Marina,
Rockland it is $62/ ft haul, store and launch. Of course I expect to call
and find that in Boston it is a monthly rate which would be too rich for my
blood.

Bob, Not knowing where you are now and how far south you want to travel, I
can recommend a marina in Huntington, LI. They've got a zillion slips, and
if you're a cat you'd probably want an "end" slip due to your beam. But
they've got a great bubbling system which keeps the slips ice-free during
the winter. When I wet-store (usually 3 out of every 4 years) I store there.

It's called West Shore Marina. If you want specifics email me off list and
I'll give you all the info. I'll probably be in there this coming winter.
