Hi, Ben, and list,
I copied John and Libbie on Norm's post...
They were without internet connectivity at the show (well, technically, just
before the show, I learned, when I followed up on a question about wiring a
GPS feed to my serial connection; see next post as someone here may have the
answer), so may not see it for a while.
In any case, in my disassembly, I saw no such issues. I suspect an anal
balancing might have prevented Norm's troubles. That said, the KISS is a
roughly, hand manufactured and assembled unit, using off-the-shelf parts for
the most part (one of the selling points as to future service), so some of
that sort of thing might be expected. The combined electrical and otherwise
mechanical knowledge here on this board could surely improve on third-world
assembly :{))
On which subject, John tells me that KISS is looking to move out of
Trinidad, the political and security climate there being very unstable.
Given how long he's been there, that's a very telling statement...

Skip, asking Ben and Norm and any other gurus to stand by for my next
post...
