Skip, Get on the morning coffee call wx and message report net, go to another boat if you have to, and ask for who's a ham around on a boat and what your need (a jumper cable). The people doing the control for the coffee call would probably also have. In Marsh Harbor I think it was the pizzaria, but the yellow roofed restaurant/marina on the NE corner was a ham as I recall. Both units could have been off at the time of a lightning hit, that does not stop the input rf circuitry from conducting. Carl
