Most are set up  Seacock,strainer, waterpump, engine oil cooler (if has), 
trans oil cooler, then the engine, then riser.  The old Perkins units tended 
to have the engine oil and transmission oil coolers in parallel.

If I assume that your engine has a closed cooling system with its anti 
freeze 50/50 and water pump seperate.  Then you would insert a water/water 
cooler  (engine closed cooled by raw) and insert in the first paragraph where 
it 
says then the engine.
