Ed, I would get a sand filter (I hear that sears makes them in a size that is probably appropriate) in addition to your pre-filters.
But why take the chance of damaging it. Pickle it and just bum free water when you need it.... unless your tanks are really small.. Lee Turkey ....What mods do I need to make to make our watermaker bullet proof for use in the waters of or near the ICW???
