>> Ahoy fellow live-aboards and fellow cruisers,
>>
>> Sue and I wanted to tell our friends that a dream hatched more than
>> ten years ago has now come true.
>>
>> We became full time live-aboards in 2006 on the Chesapeake, and with
>> selling out house and auctioning off all our "stuff" we took
>> retirement in 2007. We have since had our passport stamped in about
>> 23 countries and territories. After cruising the US East Coast from
>> Maine to the Keys about 4 times and going to the Caribbean down to
>> Venezuela and back to the East Coast, this May marked our shoving off
>> from Georgia for ENGLAND!
>>
>> With stops in Bermuda, Azores and a stint of 25 hours on a Sea Drogue,
>> we made it to Falmouth at the end of July. Since then we have had
>> work done and toured some of the Channel Islands (UK), and Cherbourg,
>> France before proceeding to the East Coast of England and going up the
>> Thames. What a joy to finally come into view of the TOWER BRIDGE.
>>
>> Thanks to all on this list that have encouraged Sue and I and provided
>> inspiration and advice. We have loved the way ANGEL LOUISE has
>> performed in taking us here. We are humble about the increased skills
>> that we have learned the hard way - through experience.
>>
>> Costs for our 12 meter Catalac catamaran for the Six months coming
>> will run just about $1K per month, including electric for heat and
>> water, to be here.
>>
>> It's a joy to have your own live-aboard with all your own stuff
>> where-ever you go!
