Anybody here has any first hand experience with Buffalo network and/or
wireless gear? I keep on seeing them online - the price seems decent
and from a distance they seem nicely built. However, it is one of the
brands I've had next to no direct contact with over the years - so I
have no idea how well they perform and specially how well they last in
real life situations.

I've been running a Buffalo router since I got fibre some 18 months ago
and it's been rock solid. It comes with a choice of firmwares "Easy" and
"professional". No idea about the former (I'm allergic to easy) but the
latter is DD-WRT and works well.

Thanks Neil. Would you say wireless coverage is fair compared to other makes/models?
