I do most editing in Clip Editor mode since I usually edit an existing single
clip. I wish there was a way to add multiple markers to a clip when viewing so
I can get a general idea of my edit points. Now I watch the video and write
down real fast where I want to edit and it usually takes a few iterations to
get it right. I don't see a pause so I have to view the clip to find the points
and look real carefully to see the frame count.
Also, wish you could open a file selection with a start time and end time
instead of start time and # frames.
Also, I'd like to see the VJ effects where you can just highlight the selection
of clip of where you want to add the effect and then have something like a
properties button to change the effect parameters.
Also, I installed the Frei0r effects. Not sure if some aren't compatible with
Lives or if they just don't work or I don't know how to use them.
Also, wouldn't mind seeing some type of image detection for motion. I played
around with it a bit on Cinelerra. I could see some uses.
Anyhow, not complaining. I really like Lives. When I was a beginner I was
editing videos in minutes versus Cinelerra.
