Thanks the scribbler effect works as I was expecting. The problem I'm having
with the svn is that jackd will stop and I get a retry message then lives just
freezes up. Lives use to be good about recovering files so it wasn't a big deal
but on this rev I can't get it to recover any of the movie files. I have a clip
open and a one frame as another clip from a .png file. The .png frame gets
recovered but not the clip.

Well, it's fixed in subversion now. The idea also with scribbler was to
have it read from a text file so that may be in the next release. When
that is done you will also be able to use it in the multitrack mode. I am
also working on another effect - puretext, which contains some more
artistic effects to do with text manipulation.

In addition, the next version of LiVES will feature .sub and .srt subtitle
support, so you can play around with those if you wish.

LiVES does have chroma key support already, I think it is called colour key.
Although actually a lot of people ask this, so one task on the TODO list
is to make it easier to find.

Gabriel.
