Create a video tutorial for LiVES, and win some great prizes ! 1st prize: $100 cash + LiVES tshirt + LiVES bag + LiVES mug 2 runners up prizes of: $50 cash + either LiVES tshirt or LiVES bag (your choice) Rules: - all entries must demonstrate one or more features of LiVES - you can create and edit your video with any software, but bonus marks will be given for creating/editing/encoding with LiVES - you may enter as many videos as you like, but a maximum one prize will be awarded per individual / group - your work must be licensed under a Creative Commons share-alike license - closing date for entries to be received is midnight on 30 june 2011, winners will be announced before 31 july 2011 on the LiVES site. Judges decision is final. - the spoken language of the video must be either: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German or Dutch; you may accompany this with subtitles in any language. Other spoken languages are acceptable, but in that case you MUST include English subtitles. (Hint - you can create a .sub or .srt file and load it into LiVES). How to enter: - create your video(s) following the rules above - upload your video somewhere so it can be downloaded - send an email to [email protected] with the subject "LiVES video competition", and giving the location to download the clip from, and a brief summary of the video; also mention if you used LiVES to create/edit or encode your video - once the video has been downloaded you will receive a confirmation email - winners will need to supply a paypal account and postal address to receive your goodies, in this case you will be contacted for those details.
