    Hey Gabriel!

That's true it doesn't discuss much in here!
By the way, I had to leave Lives for a self-developped program
(called PytaVSL), based on Pi3D, which does really really less
than lives, but does just what I need on a RPI (time of
clips-loading in my setup was too big for my purposes).

I go on recommending LiVES when someone asks me what he should use
    for VJing, though.

    See you.

Have you tried with recent versions of LiVES ? Clip loading is pretty much instant now.

Last time I tried was in April 2014, I think. I had to make a choice at that time. But I will retry for sure.

Since it seems like nobody had anything at all to say about this
amazing new feature, I will just continue as I see fit then.

Here is the up-to-date version of the document, in case anybody
    is inclined to follow this:

    https://sourceforge.net/p/lives/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/docs/c++-bindings.odt

Hope I am not interrupting the lively discussion going on in here.

    Regards,
    Gabriel.

        Hi folks,
here is a sneak preview of one of the new features which I am
        developing for 2.4:
namely, C++ language bindings for LiVES.

It's now possible to compile LiVES as a library (liblives)
and link it in to your own C++ programs, giving you
programatic control over the operation of the program.

Attached are the first few sections of the documentation,
which is very much a work in progress. However it should be
possible to run all of the examples using the current SVN
        version.

Any comments or suggestions are welcome. If you have any
ideas for the development of this feature now is your chance
        to voice them.

        Regards,
        Gabriel.
