Hi all,
I am pleased to announce that LiVES version 2.8.7 has now been released.
This version fixes some breakage (regression) in the progress dialog (e.g.
in Past as New).
In addition, when rendering a recording to a new clip you can now set the
clip name as part of the render details.
Another new feature is the ability to override the frame width and height
settings for the output when encoding to ffmpeg / x264 format. This can be
done without having to physically resize the clip which is rather nice. I
can add this to other ffmped formats if there is a demand for it.
Finally, the autolives toy was no longer working, this has been fixed. Also
the default frame size (when not otherwise specified) has been increased
from 640x480 to 1024x768 for new installs.
