As long as it can be disabled I am fine with it. I turn off all my
system sounds, so I am not meaning offense to you, I just dislike
startup sounds in general and turn them all off, and I suspect there are
others who also dislike startup sounds. But, I know some people really
enjoy them, so I suggest being able to disable the sound if desired.
