Hi,

I don't know if it has already been implemented that log scales *can* be used
(have not seen them now). At least, for the LADSPA GLAME lowpasses, the scales
are linear. Disadvantages:

 * If you want to raise the frequency in automation, drawing a line does not
sound right.
 * The knobs are hard to set knobs/automation to low frequencies, and you are
limited to only a few values there. I only seem to get multiples of 45 Hz for
the LP2.

At least for ladpsa, you'd only need to test for LADSPA_HINT_LOGARITHMIC and
then display it correctly. I'd volunteer to do that.

What do you think? Is it useful/doable?

Regards,
Johannes

P.S.: One question that is still open: Should a saw wave (e.g. from a
controller) automatically be converted to logscale? This would change the model
(not only the display), so I guess the user would need to use a
linear-to-logscale converter?
