I'd like to offer some clarification on this.  This knob behavior is not
specific to the AFP but instead exists on each and every knob within the
LMMS application.

@Toby,

Can you check and see if the new knob support changed something with the
behavior for when the threshold is surpassed (requiring the mouse to travel
the same distance back)?  This does not affect the mouse wheel, just the
click+drag up, click+drag down behavior.
