This would be possible, but not help with controlling LFOs etc. since ZASF has 
no midi controls for them. (and if it had, as I mentioned, only per note, not 
while the note is being played).

Actually for ZASF, the only thing that can not be automated yet are MIDI 
NRPNs, which however only affect the effects, which will be available as 
effects to LMMS soon, anyways. For any Windows VST, however, I don't know, 
maybe there might be cases where it is helpful.
