Hi,

please don't mix up wine64 and regular wine. wine packages on amd64
depend on wine-i386 which provides regular support for win32
applications. This is also what LMMS makes use of. When building LMMS
with VST support, it *always* runs 32 bit VST (and uses the installed
wine-i386 binaries), no matter what architecture you're on (exception:
native Win64 builds which support both 32 and 64 bit VST plugins).
When building LMMS for Linux, the same binaries for
RemoteVstPlugin.exe.so are built on both i386 and amd64 using WINE and
g++-multilib (on amd64). That's why it shouldn't make any differences
what architecture you're building LMMS for (except that you need
g++-multilib on amd64).
