I'm not sure any new mailing lists should be created at this time.
Perhaps an RSS or simple text file would be better. I think some projects
even do a regex search on sourceforge files listing for a newer version
number. It's been downloaded over 1500 times in 2 days so it seems the
word is making its way out.
