You seriously must have a better reason than that... Also, professional software tends to support all kind of things.
Pros: - Could be easier for some - You don't need cables. - Cool Cons: - Your computer or tablet must support tethering? Or else you must carry your internet modem with you (I see this as a live function). Bluethooth is perhaps a better option? Not sure if tablets have Bluethooth. - I am almost 100% sure it can't work out of the box. You probably have to give access to the tablet or computer, or something. My experience with connecting devices together via network has been bad. - Connecting with cable is even easier and faster. - If you just want to control knobs, LEDs and faders you can find a program that sends MIDI signal wirelessly. And one question: Are you thinking of an OSC (MIDI controller interface) or to control the different windows and settings in LMMS from your tablet.
