Well, for most use cases on LMMS currently, it's probably pretty much unnecessary too... however, would it make sense to have a manual latency compensation mechanism implemented for instrument tracks, so that there'd be like a built-in delay in each instrument track which the user could adjust, and compensate for latency manually that way? I'm thinking it could be put on the MIDI tab, as a lcdwidget that lets you define a delay in milliseconds for each instrument track. We could keep it simple and only allow positive values, but negative values could be implemented with some kind of static function, that checks the minimum value between all the instrument tracks and normalizes them all to zero if it's negative... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start Your Social Network Today - Download eXo Platform Build your Enterprise Intranet with eXo Platform Software Java Based Open Source Intranet - Social, Extensible, Cloud Ready Get Started Now And Turn Your Intranet Into A Collaboration Platform http://p.sf.net/sfu/ExoPlatform _______________________________________________ LMMS-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/lmms-devel
