So.. How would this work in practice? Do you mean that the sidebar tabs
would be configurable? Where would this configuration be done... would
there be an "add tab" button, and context menus for each tab to remove
them? Or would the configuration be done in settings?

In any case, I think it would still be good to have the online functions
in separate tabs from the local ones, by default at least. By default, I
think the sidebar should be about the way it is now.

Also, in my opinion, I don't think we should add this for 1.1. I think
this feature is too big to add in now if we plan to release in june...
Maybe consider it for 1.2?
