I'd like to note here, that it'd be extremely helpful if people who are capable of compiling from source would test out the sample-exact models branch a bit, if we can get some testing and find out any possible problems in it, then there might be a higher chance that we could get this feature stable enough that it could be included in 1.1.
I might be biased, but personally, I feel that sample-exact controls and models is a seriously huge step towards a real professional-grade DAW, it opens so many new possibilities... so I'm pretty excited about the possibility.
