Arguably, iTunes is the best landscape for selling music.
If you really want to start a record label, great, but combining good
business decisions and a free product/open community need to be balanced
carefully. More money doesn't necessarily fix anything with the software
and until (if) LSP goes to enterprise cloud storage, costs are and will
continue to be minimal.
In terms of merchandize, we probably have a good market for that *right
now* and could probably raise money immediately, so I think you are
bringing up some business aspirations that should be handled carefully.
The last thing we want to do is make a bunch of money and have no place to
spend it and no plan in place to comply with taxes.
