Well, I'm not really sure myself which is the better option. I think the
current changes in the models branch won't bring much if any
instability, they seem to be fairly solid, as far as I can tell. But
then, they don't really affect much at this point: only the native
Amplifier plugin takes advantage of the sample-exact models feature
currently...

However there's also some changes to peak controller & LFO controller,
and those changes as they are now might break some backwards compat
slightly... so it might be better to move it to 1.2 just to be on the
safe side...
