Hi, I have installed LMMS on my windows system and I am pretty excited. I also have the Proteus VX VSTi where I can configure 16 different instruments in 16 channels by using a single instance of the VST plugin. How do I create MIDI out channels in LMMS to make use of the 16 channels offered by this VST? In FL Studio, I would do the following:
1. Set the port number on the VST wrapper to an unused port number 2. Insert a MIDI out channel 3. Set the MIDI Out port number to the same as that on the VST 4. Set the MIDI Out channel number to that of the instrument/voice on the VST you wish to control 5. Program or record notes in the MIDI Out channel piano roll or step sequencer. This data will control the corresponding MIDI channel on the VST 6. Repeat for each instrument/voice on the VST that you wish to control. I couldn't figure out how to do the same thing in LMMS. Any ideas? Regards Ramesh
