Yeah, I can copy individual sections of piano-roll in the song editor.
That will do pretty much what I want for now, even if it's only one
instrument at a time. Thank you :-)

Adding the Lucid ppa seems to work on Maverick (10.10), but it doesn't
like the Maverick version of libjack ... good thing I wasn't using
JACK. (I installed it for Rosegarden, but this netbook just isn't
powerful enough to run Rosegarden happily.)

When do you expect to have a Maverick version in the ppa?

[I would *not* recommend anyone else try installing the Lucid lmms on
Maverick, unless they habitually run Ubuntu betas and know how to fix
a broken Debian/Ubuntu, or think "hey, I can just wipe and reinstall"
is simple and casual ;-) ]
