I frequently start up LMMS just to scribble down a new musical idea. But first, every time, I load up TR808 bass/drums/hihat and set the default Triple Oscillator to just a single sinewave. (I pick sucky sounds until the whole thing's down.)
This gets annoying to do over and over. I could work around it by having a standard blank project.
