The Import and export options available in the databases tab do exactly this. You can export points, checkpoints, and routes to csv files and import those files using the import option. The extensions of the exported files are not .csv but they are basically csv files that can be edited on a PC if needed. You can share files to Dropbox and Google drive if you have the apps for those services installed on your phone using the share option. The share option is available for all types of files. You can also back up all of Loadstone's files using iTunes.

    Hi,

My suggestions are:

* add export / import Loadstone POI, checkpoints and routes database to csv file format (for easy edit or modify to PC)

* add share database to Dropbox, Onedrive and Google disk.

Best regards!
Zlatko

Hello list. I've been thinking about ideas for what should be put in to future Loadstone versions. I want to release Loadstone 1.4 in the near future after more testing has been done. Version 1.4 will contain turn-by-turn navigation. This feature is being tested and so far I'm quite impressed. I've put together a list (in no particular order) of feature requests, suggestions, and other ideas of things that might be implemented in future versions. I've put this list out to the beta testers but I thought I'd ask the general list to see if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions. Any feedback would be appreciated. Any thoughts on what should be prioritized, what may not be of any use, or anything else I may have forgotten or that may be useful.
Here's the list so far with my comments on each item:
* Put in apple watch support.
I would like this in the next version. I would very much like to hear what
people think the Apple watch app should do.
* Put in a way to find other Loadstone users in short range.
Maybe using bluetooth?
* Look in to gpx file importing.
This has been requested a few times so may be useful. The file format itself may not provide enough information to make importing possible. Examples of gpx
files would be nice to look at for testing.
* Put in course notification.
This was an interesting feature in the unreleased Symbian version but would
it be useful?
* Maybe put in a setting to control the where am I function behaviour.
Is this needed?
* Maybe make it possible to move options around on the navigation screen.
I like this idea.
* See about being able to assign functions to gestures.
I'm not sure if there are too many gestures we can work with but maybe long
press.
* Support dynamic type.
This is kind of done already but probably needs some work.
* Maybe have background announcements go to the notification center.
Would this be of any help?
* Put in overwrite prompt if about to overwrite an existing file.
This wouldn't be too hard.
* See about some kind of repeat function for various commands.
This may be useful in some cases.
* See if there need to be different default settings for different countries.
I'm not sure if this is needed or not except maybe for address format.
* Do something with address field separator.
This is an annoying bug that's harder to fix than it should be.
* Maybe add format settings for various information buttons.
I like this idea.
* See about opening maps with a given point.
Would this be useful?
* Make it possible to export personal points only.
This may be useful.
* Put in fuzzy point searching.
I think this would be a nice improvement but may slow down searches.
* Maybe put in an http server to allow files to be transfered.
Is this needed with the other sharing options being supported?
* Maybe put in heading calibration (heading accuracy) monitor.
I'm not sure if this is needed but may be nice to know.
* Make it possible to enter a grid square in point coordinates.
This probably wouldn't be too hard to implement.
* Maybe add time to the trip meter.
This would only be an estimate, would it be useful?
* See about marking a database as read-only.
This could be useful to prevent changes.
* Look in to automatic point announcement.
This is another feature that should probably be moved up the list.
* Look at possible eta announcement for points.
I'm not sure if this would be useful or accurate.
* Look in to working with geocaching data.
This might be nice but I'm not sure if it's possible.
* Maybe make it possible to play wav files.
Would this ever be needed?
* See about sending and receiving points via text message.
The question would be what format would these take?
* Add screen keep awake feature.
The importer and exporter already do this, is it needed for the rest of the
program?
