--- Comment #8 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-08-25 21:22:42 PST --- Created an attachment (id=22481) --> (https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=22481) patch for bug Well, looking at this got me motivated, so I got everything running and wrote a patch. It's pretty much a minimal patch, so it's not the most elegant thing. It should probably be cleaned up by somebody who knows this code better than me. Anyway, the patch basically has three parts: - add a close() method to SocketNode, which is used for normal shutdown: this closes the undelying socket - in SocketHubReceiver, keep track of the SocketNode, not the socket - interpret socketClosedEvent(null) as a normal shutdown: no restart needed This corrects the problem and should leave the auto-restarting in place for unexpected socket closing. -- Configure bugmail: https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
