I'd have to digest deeper for detailed information, but what I remember is:

- an interface was changed between two minor releases
- a memory bug was introduced (I'm not 100% sure though, if this was a minor 
release or even a patch level release).

In general, though, updating to a version with lots of changes is _always_ 
risky. All we currently want is a fix for an urgent problem without introducing 
any new potential problems.
