Will the MDC data be available on a remote server? I'm trying to use the
SimpleSocketServer and print out the MDC data sent from the client api and
it doesn't seem to be printing out,
// Client side
MDC.put("user", "joe");
MDC.put("age", "26");
cat.debug("Message");
/ /Server side pattern layout
%X{user} - %m%n
All i get is "Message"

Why not? It is equivalent to your requirement below, or? Ceki
