I am trying to set the Level of a logger to be OFF (i.e., I want to turn off logging to a particular appender). But some how it changes to a DEBUG. I have noticed this only with level OFF ( WARN, INFO and DEBUG work fine). I am wondering is anyone has seen this behavior.
