The LocationInfo option takes a boolean value. If true, the
information sent to the remote host will include location
information. By default no location information is sent to the server.

So the client side configuration file should be

log4j.rootCategory=DEBUG, A1
log4j.appender.A1=org.apache.log4j.net.SocketAppender
log4j.appender.A1.Port=12345
log4j.appender.A1.RemoteHost=localhost
# new directive
log4j.appender.A1.LocationInfo=true
