Well, my earlier message (#8631355) didn't elicit a response so let me ask a more succinct question.
How do you all use logger priority, appender threshold (that is, AppenderSkeleton.setThreshold()), and LevelRangeFilter? They all appear to do about the same thing, in different ways. Are one or two of those almost never used? Or do they work differently so you use different ones in different cases?
