Hi, I was looking through the plans and noticed that the watchdog system had been rewritten by Mark Womack, and included an HTTPWatchdog as part of that change. HTTPWatchdog would be quite useful as we store the XML configuration file for Log4J on a centralised web server.
Are the new watchdog framework (and new watchdogs) going to become part of the standard Log4J system? Is this a v1.3 inclusion, or will it be release earlier in v1.2.8?
