Ivan Habunek commented on LOG4PHP-170:
--------------------------------------
Hm, seems to work OK for me. If you add a context before logging, e.g.:
LoggerNDC::push('SomeContext');
Then it is included in the output:
02/20/12 23:29:35,041 [8572] INFO example_echo SomeContext - Test Logger
Anyways, contextPrinting is on by default, so the same result is achieved even
if you do not set it to true explicitly.
Which version are you using? I'm testing on the latest stable (2.2.1).
> Configuring a file or echo appender programmatically will not show context
> printing despite setting the value to TRUE

> $layout = new LoggerLayoutTTCC();
> $layout->setContextPrinting(true);
> $layout->setDateFormat('%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S');
> $layout->setMicroSecondsPrinting(false);
> $layout->activateOptions();
>
> $appender->setLayout($layout);
> $appender->activateOptions();
> $logger->addAppender($appender);
> $logger->info('Test Logger');
> Output:
> 2012-02-20 17:19:56 [3456] INFO example_echo - Test Logger
> Mon Feb 20 17:19:56 2012,607 [3456] INFO example_echo - Test Logger
> The logger and appender are created, and work as expected, except that no
> context information is given when it echos.
> Other set* methods work properly. Only setContextPrinting does not.
