Background:
We are Clara List and Dominik Pichler, two PhD students working in the
area of first-order modal logic. At this year's ESSLLI in Ljubljana,
we attended the first-order modal logic workshop organised by Valentin
Goranko and Dmitry Shkatov. Towards the end of the workshop, there was
great interest from the participants and organisers in further events
focusing on this area. This is why we are excited to announce the
launch of our new monthly online seminar on the topic of first-order
modal logic.

Our main motivation for organizing this seminar is to provide a
platform for researchers to present and discuss past and ongoing
projects so that participants can keep up to date with the current
state of the art. As speakers share their recent work and discoveries,
we hope the main challenges of the field can be identified together as
a collective community. Ideally, the seminar will also offer valuable
insights to up-and-coming researchers and spark new research
initiatives.

We hope to see you at the seminar!

Kind regards,

Clara and Dominik
