Exim has a built-in resident perl interpreter
(http://www.exim.org/exim-html-3.10/doc/html/spec_10.html#SEC178)
not to mention perl compatible regexen.

It's sufficiently warpable that I managed to make exim produce
mime-encapsulated bounce messages when exim was never designed to do
that. Not to mention a bunch of LDAP shenanigans.
