Thats a good point, Linux may be about choice but having a nice consistant
keyboard interface is a godsend. I don't really use a mouse that much under
Windows, its too awkward if you have a decent typing speed. The Linux gui's
don't have any real amount of similarity and the little they do have is 
probably fluke ;) Another problem is the apps themself, and they put menu 
items in strange places.

Never tried it and we don't have many Win boxes here but you could try Net
Send and then paste from the other machine. Not sure if a netsend box is 
modal though... If not i'm pretty sure theirs an NT service that does this
