Tired of "vi vs. emacs", "Perl vs. Python" and "buffy vs. Willow"?

Well here's someting else to consider. Is it "Unix" or "UNIX"?

I ask because I've used "Unix" throughout the book, but the publishers have changed it 
to "UNIX". 

Any opinions?
