For 600 pounds you can probably get a one bedroom flat on your own slightly
out of the centre(?), or a room in a flat in the centre (Barbican, Old
Street way). You shouldn't have trouble tho at that price range.

To get an idea, look at http://www.loot.co.uk ... remember, the further out
you go, the less expensive it will be, but you pay more in both monetary and
time terms for commuting.
